The Heart Behind Carabao
The Carabao Care & Counselling logo was thoughtfully designed to reflect the values at the heart of our clinic: connection, resilience, compassion, and community.
At the centre of the design are two “sister” carabaos, gently embracing one another through the symbolic gesture of the carabao’s tail wrapping around the other. This embrace represents the bond between sisters, the strength found in connection, and the belief that we are never meant to navigate life’s challenges alone.
The carabao was chosen as a meaningful symbol of Filipino heritage — representing strength, resilience, perseverance, and a deep connection to the land and community. These values closely reflect the foundation of Carabao Care & Counselling: providing compassionate, accessible care that honours the whole person and the communities we serve.
Together with our sister company, Mango Mental Health, the use of Filipino-inspired symbolism pays tribute to the roots from which both clinics were founded. Created by sisters Alia and Mariel, these brands celebrate the values that have shaped our identities: family, care for one another, and a shared commitment to uplifting our community.
At its core, the carabao represents what we hope every person feels when they experience our care — supported, connected, and surrounded by a community that believes in their strength.
